I am thinking about getting the 13W7, but im not sure what enclosure to get. JL audio makes the prowedge box, but that costs another 200-300 bucks, and its sealed. The shop could make a custom ported box and install it for about 400 or so. What box should i go with?

Go ported, as long as it's big enough and well made.

Curtis you should look into the HO box. HO will make your sub clean and loud.

Hey, Nice topic because I am in the same boat here. I am looking to go with the single 13w7 in the pro wedge box myself. Has any one here ever tried this sub in a seal box. Right now I am running (2) 12w6 in a slot ported box on a 1000/1 and mercy it takes up a lot of space. I am looking in to a smaller set up with half the size of the slot ported. Will that 13w7 play as clean and loud as my (2)12w6. Please help me out. Thanks
