Changing subs, quick question

I'm looking to go to something like the 12" Fi Q and drop my amp to 1 ohm (which would put the amp to 1400w off the birthsheet)in a ported box. As a general rule would I be gaining or losing spl off this?

I can't wait to get the money saved up so that I can get an HO alt. I'm dimming enough off what I have now. The car drops from about 900 rpm to 600 when the bass hits.
