Gold Member Username: Nyyfan13Fi SSD USA Post Number: 5720 Registered: Jul-06 | lets see, i love mine. no major complaints about it. i probably get around 30miles per gallon id guess, not too positive tho. i made a huge mistake of getting auto, definitly get stick bud. as for being quick, its not the fastest car in the world but it gets me around with a little speed. i raced my friends '08 lancer the other day and beat him so its got a little pick up to it. the 6.5s in the front are nice to have and the thing that comes down and hides the HU is great, love that thing. and its fun in the snow  hit me on AIM if you want more info bud y2kmonkey33 |

PA/new york state FTW..... around there if ya don't have a truck, you don't go anywhere in the winter. 4x4 is nice, I like to do donuts, 180s, etc in 2wd and put it in 4x4 when I actually need to go somewhere. |

Gold Member Username: Skibum12189Cleveland Post Number: 1295 Registered: Mar-06 | dudes, i live in cleveland, i'm not sure if you guys know what lake effect snow is but we get more snow around here than almost any other place in the eastern US other than maybe buffalo, NY, parts of vermont and NH.... some mornings i wouldnt be able to move without my 4wd, but if youre smart with a stickshift fwd car, just start it up in 2nd or 3rd and baby the clutch and you're golden |

Post Number: 4118 Registered: Jul-06 | Chad you say that now but in a real snow storm you'd actually sh1t your pants.This past winter for about 2 weeks the snow was so slick and bad that on my 5 minute drive down 95th street there was at least 5 accidents 3 happened right next to me rofl.I saw this guy try to turn into a 7Eleven and he just slid right up a curb and into a concrete block lol.The rest were T-bones and people getting rear ended.I was pumpin the hell out of my brakes to stop.Another time I was coming back from Wisconsin and it was -20 degrees out and the snow was coming down like crazy.I couldn't see 15 feet in front of me and I was going 60 on the E-way and everyone else was going like 15 =/ I figured I was going to die but it was pretty fun. |

Gold Member Username: Skibum12189Cleveland Post Number: 1419 Registered: Mar-06 | actually yanks, i have a jeep cherokee XJ body style (not the grand cherokee) umm well actually, my parents pay for insurance, the car, maintenance, everything, all i pay for is gas and oil changes and insurance is like 1600 bucks a year for the jeep and for a scion itd be like 500 a year, so i figure like over 5 years thats 5500 bucks, not to mention im lucky if i get 15 miles per gallon, and quite frankly, that blows....i like suv's but only to the standpoint of its got 4wd....my car's worth about 10k so i was thinkin if i could convince pops to trade in my car, my moms old summer car, and take the money on insurance, itd add up to like 16 grand and i found a scion i want with 15k miles and a stickshift for 15950.... yea idk, jeeps are great cars, but theyre sooo damn expensive, granted my car's got the 4.0 L HO I6 thats been in the xj body style since 1984 and has been known to do 300k miles on the easy end, its just not worth the gas and what not... haha that and i love the looks of scions...i love stickshift, love moonroofs, and idk haha i just like em i guess... |
