Blown amp, installer error help!!!

Project pat Bronze Member Username: Patrick_ortiz San antonio, Tx Usa Post Number: 13 Registered: Aug-07	Posted on Thursday, August 09, 2007 - 00:26 GMT OK, check this out, this is my system 1 solox dual 1 ohm voice coils, 10 in sub 1 hifonics brutus amp 1606d, which is stable at 1 ohm or higher THese people at texas sounds say they wired the sub using a dual amplifier formula, red black red black, 4 wires from the amp to the sub, neither paralell or series!!!!!!!!!!! HOW CAN IT BE DUAL AMPLIFIER IF THERES ONLY ONE AMP!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! wouldnt wiring the amp with 4 seperate wires to the four seperate connections PUT IT AT .5 OHMS?!?!!?!?!? WOULDNT I NEED TWO AMPS FOR TWO A DUAL AMPLIFIER SETUP DUHHHHHHH!?!?!??! im so angy my amp started smoking and its on protection mode now, its blown for sure. am i right or wrong
