i'm trying to build a box for my ssd's that is 32" wide with 2 4" aeroports. problem is, i can't fit them all on the front of the box. since they have to be 4" from every wall i have to put them near the middle and i can't fit the speakers on.

so i've got these three options, which one is best.

1) put one port on the front and one on the side
2) put both ports on one side
3) put the speakers on the sides and the ports on the front

The don't have to be 4" from the side walls just the back wall by the entrance of the port! O have two of my ports that have the rims trimmed to allow it to get clsoer to the wall.. Polo. :-)

i found this on rockfords website and it says they have to be 4" from every wall or it changes the tuning. scroll down a lil ways to "installation considerations"

Hmmm pretty sure the more ports you add the longer they have to be to reach the same desired tuning...Polo.

whoops forgot to add the link to the rockford page. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/library/1996/7_Accessories/No%23_Aeropor_R P9314-9317_MAN.pdf

if i add another port it will have to be 20" long for all of them instead of 2 13" ports
