Setting gains

ryan shaw Silver Member Username: Theweasel 2 12 FI SSD, Colorado U.S. of A Post Number: 912 Registered: Mar-06	Posted on Monday, July 30, 2007 - 21:41 GMT i was setting the gains on my soundstream pca2000d running it at 2 ohms and 1500w. so 3000 sqrt is about 55v. i had hu at 3/4 volume, 50hz sine wave, all eq's and processors off and bass boost off. i had to turn the gain knob all the way to achieve the target voltage. is that normal/ok?
