Amp wont play

i just blew all of the fuses on my amp and now it wont work after replacing them. what could be wrong? is my amop done?

ok did it smell like burning plastic and did you also check the inline fuse

no it did not smell at all and the inline fuse blew but was replaced as well.

nope, no protect lights or anything. it just wont play. i think its because im not using 40 amp fuses or somthing. Idk though i just have these jumpers im place for now. but even when i get the real fuses i have a feeling it still wont work. should that even matter though, i mean as long as the circuit is complete i wouldnt think it would matter.

before you trash your amp take a voltmeter and check your turn on lead, it is possible that you somehow shorted that and blew another fuse in your car or head unit. and as always use and ohmmeter to make sure you have a good ground connection
