I am finally getting this sub to move... I had air movement before but NOW woohooo. I can only run it at 1/2 power (2ohm and at 14V) but it is sooo loud and the amp barely heats up. Good to know I probably have as much power as I will ever need, just need to get the aux batteries in and bring it up to 16V. Polo..

This is just a test fit, gonna make a box for it with some fans and outside ventilation.

Were those amps rated at 16volts? Because if so you're getting like 3500-4000 @ 2 Ohms(Site says 4800@2Ohms but doesn't list voltage used). That's quite a bit already for that Treo.

I had one for a very short period of time, but they are 6500 at 16v.

Output Power at 1% THD+N:
1 x 1697W @ 4 ohm (13.5V)
1 x 1750W @ 4 ohm (14.4V)
1 x 2905W @ 2 ohm (13.5V)
1 x 3290W @ 2 ohm (14.4V)
1 x 4082W @ 1 ohm (13.5V)
1 x 4490W @ 1 ohm (14.4V)
The page lists (RMS, unknown voltage and THD): 3400W @ 4 ohm, 4800W @ 2 ohm, 6500W @ 1 ohm
S/N Ratio: >80 dB
Damping Factor: >350 @ 80Hz (+/-5Hz)
Operating Freq. (band-width): 15Hz ~ 150Hz
Dimensions: 24.53" x 11.42" x 2.56" (62.3cm x 29cm x 6.5cm)
Max. DC current: 465A DC (1 ohm, 1% THD+N)

Same board as:
. Audiobahn A4KDN
. Ground Zero GZPA 1.6000D
. Lanzar OPTI 4000D

I've read tests where it did more and less than 6500 @ 16v, but many say it doesn't do it at <=1%thd. Still a stout amp, and very beefy in person.

I don't know, maybe not just a daily, lol. I know the power ratings that is why I bought it, very versatile and the power keeps going up with voltage increases. Some have even ran them at 18+V even though I would never. I have my two racing dual voltage 16V batteries, external adjustable regulator and was thinking of a BatCap 8400, 16V version of course... I will run the amp 16v @2ohms for stability...Polo. :-)

Rob, I am borderline on that, lol. This amp is a current hog, even at 2ohms. I have yet to add the aux bats so I will keep you all posted on it. hey how much do the 8400's go for, just gonna get one, 16V but I am getting a good deal with a charger also for $480 shipped. I am sorry, I have no numbers BUT I think as soon as I get it dialed in a movie will be in order! Polo..
