You think you don't got enough money to get a new amp, wait till you have to buy a new trunk lid and get it painted because your flip flop trunk will start leaking. I was thinking about doing it to my car, but i asked several car related forums and people said they highly reccomend not doing it. IF its done right, whenever you want to close it normally, you just put the second set of bolts back in, and it should seal as good as it did before |

The only modifications are cutting out that piece shown in the pics, and putting a washer behind the bolts that stay in all the time. I'm gonna do it, I don't see any reason why it should leak, especially if I can do it without having to remove the lid |
