i prefer the ssd even though they are the lowest in class i hit 144.1 on a tl in a daily box on 1200w there a hell of alot cheaper also but if u want gut wrenching bass get btl and get ready 2 spend a lil money

you can go cheap and get SSDs, they pack good spl.

the BLs and BTLs are awesome though.

ive got two BLs and they sound great for rock and of course rap (xplods sound good for rap:-) ). if you crank on the volume though they will peel your face off... :-)

so is the btls better the the bls im guessing the btls can handle alot more and what would be a good tuned box for the 15" BTL

could just get a dual 1 ohm sub and wire it to 2 ohms....

that zx1500.1 would be good for the BL with some options added on to it....thats not enough pwoer for a btl....

Now this is probably a big noob question but how exactly do you wire a dual 2 sub to one ohm?

i gotta find a good amp to power the btl first which i cant think of any amps that are 1ohm and that is 2000rms or more which im assuming the btl would need 2000rms inorder to be deadly

My btls were great on 2krms, even with options. They were MUCH better with 4000.
the kicker 2500 would be good,
rf 3000, or 4000
memphis 2k or 4k
soundstream6500
cactus sounds 4,5 or 7k
DD z1, z2
Sundown 3000
atomic 5000
vfl 400.1
There are many more out there though, that's just a good few off the top of my head.

pretty much all those amps are over 500 though, even used you're lucky to get almost any of those for < 750.

When I replaced my L7 15 with a BTL 18 on the same hifonics 2006d it was night and day, sq wise as well as spl wise. The btl sounds much tighter and controlled, while a great deal louder.
