ok so i have a 240/125 idle ho alternator. i have 2 15" Fi Q's d2. i have a kicker 350.4 hooked up and 2 kicker kx 1200.1's. i have the amps strapped so there seeing a load of 2 ohms. now my gain is set at 30 out of 40. i can turn it up to 25 and anything over that the bass amps start to cut out. and cut right back on. then off again etc
can any1 help me

Your clipping them. Your gain is set way too high.

i set the gain with the voltage calculator it says to set it at 69.3. or do i just turn it down

Whats the preout voltage on your HU?

22 ok explain to me exactly y its 22. from what i read to set the gain i just go to subwoofertools.com put in 2400 into 2 ohms and set the gain. it comes out to 69.3 how did u get 22

I thought you were supposed to set it to the HU preout voltage.

I would try 22. I dont think you will have any problems with it.
