Sooo how loud are they really? I have a 1000rms 4 channel amp and was recommended the CVL's. I will be putting a set of 5 1/4's up front and a set of 6 1/2's in the passenger doors, is this overkill or will it get the ears ringing good? Polo.. :-O

I run the 6.5" CVL's in my car. For the money you can't get a louder cleaner sounding set of components. I haven't ever used over $500 components, so I am not sure what some of the real high end stuff is like. But the CVL's will get VERY loud and sound good doing it.

The front panels have a pod-like setup and the 5.25's are the largest you can get in it. If I was to cut the pod out I can get more in but then I would put 8's, lol. I don't wanna to ruin the looks to much you know :-O . Polo..

Same thing im thinking...

U shouldnt notice much of a sound difference anyway between the two sets...regardless of size....

The 6 1/2" CVL's use a bigger voice coil than the 15" RD's lol.
