Im going to have around 1000-1200rms @ 1 ohm to play around with and im wanting to get two 12" subs.

Any suggestions on what do get? This is going in my daily driver, I dont plan on competing or anything either. I just want a loud but clean sounding setup.

My first choice was just the basic Alpine Type-R's... but I wanted to get some opinions first.

I do want NEW subs though and a warranty would be nice too.

get 2x RD Classics. They handle 500w each and are SQ-SQL subs made in the USA. When I decide to upgrade my setup I will probably be going with the RD Classics.

get the type r's. they are good for sq and spl. i own them and they are great and they wont empty your pockets. they handle 500 watts rms each but can easily take 700 plus in everyday use. alpine makes good subs and the type r's are the best they have i think.

1000-1200rms would go perfect with 2 12''audioque sd2.5s. it will be plenty loud for u. trust me. your ears will hurt.

The RL-p is a good idea, SSD's with D1 coils, or maybe the new Arsenals.
