What gauge wires do i need

i am purchasing a sundown sae-1000d this weekend. i need to know what wires to get. i was looking at buying a rockford fosgate 4 gauge wiring kit. would this be fine? one the sundown audio web page it says 4 gueage wires are required. are the rockford fosgate wires good? thanx for the help

4 gauge minimum. It is not easy to run power wire though, so use 1/0 to allow for future upgrades (you will want to upgrade, even if you don't think so now)

You don't want to be running wire twice (and paying for it twice).

rf wires are good, I have quite a few in my car now and they work just fine. 4 gauge is also good, you don't need to pay for 1/0 now since when/if you upgrade I highly doubt paying ~$150 for wire and running it again will be high on your priority list..

But if you see upgrading your whole system in the near future go for the 1/0 like M.S. said

And running 0g is insanely hard to do, 4g will be a lot easier...
