Gold Member Username: HdubbFarmington, Nm Usa Post Number: 2238 Registered: Nov-04 | hmmm that doesnt ive you a lot of options. there is a sub called a maw12 its like 70 bucks there was a review on it and it did real well. then you might be able to find a 300 watt amp for 130 to 150. wooferetc.com may have an ampp for you. but then youll need an enclosure and wiring. those sony subs are over rated. thy would be ok if you just want a lil bump in the trunk...or even junk in tha trunk lol. but there is better for the money |
Gold Member Username: HdubbFarmington, Nm Usa Post Number: 2239 Registered: Nov-04 | and always go by rms power and need to figure out what the amps load is stable at. ike 1ohm or 2ohms. say if your runnin one sub and one amp. if the amp is two ohm stable then youll either need a svc 2ohm sub or a dual 4 ohm voice coil sub or a dual 1 sub. |
New member Username: Noob101Taylorsville, Utah Post Number: 7 Registered: Jul-07 | i could get a lil more cash maybe something near 300 and this is just on the Sub not the Amp but I'd like to hear some good recommendations on amp to go with the sub |

Bronze Member Username: TejcurrentPost Number: 49 Registered: Apr-07 | For 300 get a Fi BL in the largest size you can. How much room do you have to work with? A hifonics 2006d is a decent amp for the money, or a Sundown 1500 would be a great match for that sub. |
Bronze Member Username: Noob101Taylorsville, Utah Post Number: 11 Registered: Jul-07 | thanks Troy do you have a link on where to find those? Not sure how to say this but i got 15" Vertical 37" Horizontal and 31" from the back of the trunk to the front if that makes sense... |
Bronze Member Username: TejcurrentPost Number: 54 Registered: Apr-07 | Ficaraudio.com then go to speakers. Maybe squeeze a 15 in there? |
