I have an 81 malibu classic and it has weird 4x10 back speakers...i've found only one company that sells them which is eclipse here is the link http://www.eclipse-web.com/integrated/se8405.html does anyone else know where to get others from? and also how are those eclipse 4x10's? |

Gold Member Username: The_image_dynamicSan Diego Post Number: 2291 Registered: Dec-06 | Ehhhh, 4x10's generally sound like ass. You would be much better off getting some quality 6x9's or better yet getting a plate adapter to mount some 6 1/2" comps back there. Why do you want rear speakers anyway? By the way, Crutchfield is just for reference, don't ever actually buy anything there since they sell for list price. |

Gold Member Username: The_image_dynamicSan Diego Post Number: 2294 Registered: Dec-06 | Those would be among the better choices if you go 6x9's. Don't forget that you can also get 6x9 comp sets too like these: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9487_Eclipse+SC6900.html. And if you thought I was exaggerating about Crutchfield selling for list: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5024_Infinity+Kappa+692.7i.html |
Silver Member Username: Fac3l3ssPost Number: 108 Registered: Oct-05 | those eclipse comp sets sound nice...is sonic electronix ok to order from? |
Silver Member Username: Fac3l3ssPost Number: 109 Registered: Oct-05 | i think i would prefer to go with the regular infinity kappas or something very similar..said they would fit in my 81 malibu...how well would they run from my head unit? |
Silver Member Username: Fac3l3ssPost Number: 110 Registered: Oct-05 | hell no the head unit won't come close enough to powering those well hey? |
Silver Member Username: Fac3l3ssPost Number: 111 Registered: Oct-05 | might get a kick out of this but look for what those kappas sell for around here http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000F S10066764&catid= |
