Hi I have the unit in subject. I have installed myself, as I am in Aus and there are no DEI reps in my area (besides, I am more than capable). I have the unit fully installed, and the remote did not respond to the unit new out of the box, I thought perhaps it may need to be programmed into the unit, so I follow instructions layed out in manual, but when it come to pushing the button on the remote, I push a button and it just comes up with 'transmitter out of range'. I just wanted to exhaust all possible options I could try, before I contact the place the system was bought from (ebay). I check the antenna module and it reads +/- 5v on 2 of the wires going into it, so it seems to me, that it does have power. Also what is the button on the antenna for? And there is a pinhole on the back of the remote fob, with a button hidden behind it, what is this for? I have access to the bitwriter, and all programming is unlocked on the unit. the RPN on the FOB is 7541v/p/x FCC ID is ezsdei7541 Any help, suggestions appreciated
