I've owned a SPL 12"once...I had the lifetime warenty on it...I blew that 6 of those jokers...and it wan't to much power from the amp or anything...even had it hooked up right and everything...it absolutely sucked...it was a 175$ subwoofer (forget the name)...but I will never by SPL again

RE XXX's, DD9500's, ect are SQL subs.... if your not into comps id think about that.... they sound much better and get lots lower and musical.... and still loud enough to make people wanna bail outta the ride ;) although the 9500 can be used in SPL to..

^W7 for spl? thats a first.

Look into kicker L7, RE SX, FI BL, Audioque SD2.5, DD 2500, RD Audio Elite.

15 L7 would probally be loudest but it will sound the worst

and you can get 2-4 15L7's for the price of 1 13W7.... dont buy a W7 if your going for SPL its just not worth it.... if your going for SQ\SQL then it could be considered... but you would still want like 2 atleast

Oaktown, have you heard SPL systems compared to SQL\SQ? j\w because if your not into comps you probally wont like a straight SPL setup for daily.
Going from a W7 to L7... big sq difference

What about a DD3500 its rms is around 1200 but it can handle alot more if needed. And they sound good to boot.
