What is the recomended volume and tuning for a 12w7 enclosure? I cant seem to find it...

I used win isd to calculate the fz of the port on the box that JL describes in their brochure and it is tuned at 36hz not the 32hz that they claim...

First off, any program you use to verify the recommended spec's as to port tuning is going to be wrong because you not using the same exact program JL used to define the enclosure spec's because I use Bass Box Pro 6 and the port tuning is not correct either for what they state it to be.

I would suggest tuning a W7 in the mid 30's. That is what has always sounded best to me. But they don't sound bad sealed either. Give one a couple cubic feet sealed and it will sound great.
