AudioQue AMPLIFIERS
It takes power to drive speakers, so we've been searching the world over for amps to believe in. We want amps that sound good, make good power, are efficient on the input power, are reliable, made from the best parts, are made in the USA and serviced by the same guys who build them.

We went to some old friends in Florida at USAMPS to tailor amps for the AudioQue subs. These guys are the best at what they do - making kicka$$ amps. They designed some amps with output characteristics that complement our subs impedance curves. This combination of American made iron will pump out bass sooo nice you'll drive around the block an extra time to play that drum track again.

How many watts does it gots?
In this day of megagillion watt ratings, it seems some watts might be bigger than other watts. We might be disappointing you in letting you know that these amps won't have a 4.5 megagillion watt rating. In fact, they won't even come close to that, whatever a megagillion is.

Amps make power from how big the transformers are, and the capability of the transisitors in the supply/output stages. The more ferrite and silicon you have, the more balls you get. Long term solid-butt output takes real world design experience, ferrite and silicon, the best parts you can get and dedication to making quality, not quantity. We get all the above from our friends in Florida, and real watts you'll feel, not just read about on the spec sheet.

The two AudioQue Approved sub amps put out a conservative 1000 and 500 watts respectively. They make this power at 2 ohm loads. A very unique feature of these amps is the broad output curve, these amps will make within 20% of their power from 1.5 Ohms to over 3 Ohms. These are amps designed to make bass heads happy, to deliver clean bass all night long while being as easy as possible on your electrical system.

The 500 features twin output cores inside a highly wound output transformer, the 1000 uses two, twin cored transformers to ensure that current capability is never compromised. Most class D amps don't approach half the design spec built into these amps, but this overbuild it philosophy has made USAMPS the recognized benchmark in car audio amplification.

These amps come with a full 2 year warranty, by people you can actually talk to. The AQ Approved DE-1000 amp comes with the SAT system of on-board computer diagnostics. All amps go through rigorous testing before shipping, there are no dead-out-of-the-box, why does my amp make a funny squeally, wounded rodent noise or do a puff the magic dragon imitation when you hook it up. The amps are played and tested BEFORE they get shipped, what a novel idea, huh? In the event that something does go wrong, there are real people, who built the amps, to help you get the problem solved. This is a concept known as "Customer Service". This is a benefit of spending your amp money with the people who take pride in building it.

So before you spend that hard earned money on amps made who knows where, because some internet dudes got a good deal on them, ask yourself is that really a deal? Do you want your money going to Hop Sing Electronics and Buggy Bumber Manufacturing, or spend it with guys who live for making cars bump as hard as possible. The guys at USAMPS have amplifiers out there in cars that are older than people getting their driver's license this year, amps that are STILL working. That speaks volumes about dedication to quality. This is quality worth spending extra coin on.
