I'm lookin to go for the type - r i assume 12 will give me higher bang over the 10'. i have two alpine type E's 12 inch. they sound good at half volume but when i need the hard slam they peeder out and just can't reproduce it. so my question is this, if i keep my amp which is a infinity 1600a reference series will it run one 12 way louder and harder then my Type E's ? the amp will push 400 watts at 4 ohms and 600 at 2ohms.
well i got the type r and turned inthe e's the r still blows them away even as only one. right now i'm trying to figure out port depth for the band pass box i bought for it by q logic, the question wasn't about 12 inch being louder as 2 or one it was about would the one R smoke both E's and the answer i found was hell yea.
