Ok, I am upgrading my system and currently i have 2 alpine MRD-M605 amps. 600 rms each. And I am wanting to get get some type r's or type s's. But, this is the first time i would be dealing with dual coils so i dont really know what im doing. With 600rms amps, type s's are 300 rms and type r's are 500rms. But my question is, which is the better way to do it? 2ohm dual coils or 4 ohm dual coils, with the amps i have. and should i wire in parallel or series with the coils? help please.

the amps put out 600x1 @2ohm so i would get 2 dual 4 ohm type Rs and wire them each individually to 2ohms. (1 amp on 1 sub)they will be seeing a little over 600rms each then, which is a pretty good amount of power.
