Ok, I am upgrading my system and currently i have 2 alpine MRD-M605 amps. 600 rms each. And I am wanting to get get some type r's or type s's. But, this is the first time i would be dealing with dual coils so i dont really know what im doing. With 600rms amps, type s's are 300 rms and type r's are 500rms. But my question is, which is the better way to do it? 2ohm dual coils or 4 ohm dual coils, with the amps i have. and should i wire in parallel or series with the coils? help please.

if you are hooking a single type r to one amp get the dual 4's and wire them in parallel, if you get two type s's get the dual 2 coil's and run each sub's coils in a series, then run the subs in parallel

if you get two of the type s, then get the dual two coils.
