Sub Blown...Maybe...?

I aquired a volfenhag sub from a friend for free because it doesnt work...it dont feel blown what else could it be? And when i hook it up it does nothing....

Check it with a 9 volt battery and if it doesn't move check the tinsel leads and also the solder joints at the jacks. If you have a DMM handy you could check with that to see if the coils have any resistance.

Well,
1>volfenhag...no big loss
2>Free....even less of a loss

but yeah, hook wires up to the + and - on the sub, then touch them both to the 9volt battery to see if it moves at all. maybe tap the wire on and off a few times.
