Would the extra 70 bucks be worth buying ssd's over cvx's??
Are the ssd's spl, sq, or sql??
would the massive audio p1500.1 be a good amp for them?

unless you buy used, you have to buy from fi. but there cheap enough as it is, $380 is really good for a nice pair of 12"s.

No, it's not worth it to go with the ssd's for more money. The CVX slaughtered the ssd in bassman's 12" challenge. Save the money, and get a louder sub.

Personally, I'd go with the SSDs. You'll have to hook it up and find out how much power you'll be able to get out of your charging system.

I don't know about the max. CVX will be the loudest, both will be reliable.

You check your voltage drop. Fi has better build quality. The guy above is saying the CVXs are louder, I wouldn't know. I would rather buy a product that is going to last longer.

i like kicker amps alot, esp the zx and sx series....

their subs...i know it's highly disputed, but i think they don't sound great and they're unreliable...

HOWEVER....IF i were going to buy a kicker sub, i would definitely buy the cvx bc it sounds decent and gets loud and frankly is 100x more reliable than a L5/7

Watch RoE.com and caraudio.com and you'll see some nice SSDs come up for sale. I bought mine off of CHase Freeman on this site for a 300.

SSD (overall) > CVX

CVX will not take the abuse a SSD can take. It all depends on install. the ssd gets real loud and sounds incredible. But its your choice.

30 pounds for 1 15 i think, its on their site. Just to give u an idea of how loud it is, I hit 143db legal with a TL on late night tip, And that was 1 15" with a hifonics 1206D on a stock charging system.

Here is a vid (crappy video because i was rushing)

that would be techniccally underpowering it, but if you get a kciker 750.1 that would push that sub nicely
