Tremor's cd player runaround...

Gold Member Username: Tremor1127Team Fi Car Audio [:-] Post Number: 1688 Registered: Aug-06 | is still going on... heres the full scoop. may 18th i won an auction from a guy who has 900+ positive feedback selling pioneer stuff. 1 negative feedback total. within 1 hour of winning the auction i have paid him. it took him 8 days to ship the thing... i FINALLY get it. its the wrong one. he tells me, cool, i have 1 extra premier (the one i bought) and 1 minus pioneer deh-p6900mp (the one i got). within 1 hour of getting off the phone with him, i pay 10 bucks and send it back to him. after several days of no repsonse i get THIS: "Yes, goT it yesterday. We have a big problem. You did not pack it up in the same safe manner that it was sent to you. You shoved it in the box and place the foam cushioning discs on top. One entire side of the radio took the whole trip's tossing and stacking impacts directly to the unit as it was right up against the cardboard. Trim ring broke, and the unit will not play or eject cds due to internal mechanical damage. I need to take it apart and see if repairs are possible. If I can make up for the mistake, we can pretend it never happened. I know this wouldn't be an issue if I got you your correct radio in the 1st place, but you do have a responsibility to get returns to me in the same condition it got to you. This is standard practice." when i recieved the package it had about 6 small foam discs inside as packing. everything was very loose inside the box. i, personally, dont ship crap like that, when i ship something i make sure nothing slides around inside, he didnt. i put half of the foam discs in one end and put the other half in the other end. i simply packaged it as good as him and now he is telling me his packaging is more superior than mine. WTF DID I DO TO THIS GUY! HE IS GETTING POSITIVE FEEDBACK AS WE SPEAK AND IM HAVING NOTHING BUT TROUBLE WITH HIM! the cd player was supposed to be here last weekend and i had to wait till this monday, then i shipped it back to him and was expecting him to repay me by sending the premier overnight so i could have it for THIS weekend. but now i have to sit back and wait on him to figure out if he can fix the damn thing?!!! i havent had a cd player in my car for over a month now! |

The top pushers/sellers there are also the most experienced in swindling your feedback. Remember Indoaudio? I never leave feedback anymore until the transaction is complete and I'm satisfied. Their rating is gold to their business and is the only power you have. Did you use Paypal? Have you left your feedback yet? I hope you didn't, cause once they get that from you the transaction is considered nonessential, unless you get lucky. He at least admitted he sent the wrong one. It sounds to me like he's going to use this "return damage" as a way to recoup his shipping expences in sending you the right one. Just a guess. |

Gold Member Username: Tremor1127Team Fi Car Audio [:-] Post Number: 1689 Registered: Aug-06 | well, i have not left feedback, haha. i never got my cd player... and no paypal, i used a money order. this is like a nightmare. i sent an email this morning, after i got his email that i pasted above, and i called him 3 times with no answer. i sent one more email a few minutes ago telling him a few things. mainly that i dont feel that i am responsible for ANY of this. i used what HE supplied in the package as packing and he tells me its not packed good enough. there was seriously alot of room inside of the box. and thanks chad, i hope so too, so i can finally hear my box. im ready to see if i like it or if it is extra firewood... |
