How much can an alpine type r handle???

how many watts should i have my type r at so it really has alot of bass sounds good and can be played at that rate for long periods of time without blowing??? help please because i just got one and dont want the s*** to blow right of the bat

i remember someone saying thay gave each like 1200wrms daily and it took. didn't you say in another threa you already ordered an amp, i think the mrd650 or something?

yea the mrp m650... i said i was getting that or the rockford fosgate punch 600d both have 600 watts rmsx1... just dont want it to blow. was thinkin of mayb going mrp m450 at 400 rmsx1... im about to click the order button so i need some help lol

they both share a orion 2500d..so u do the math..takes it no promblme

worrrd? damnnnn and with an amp at 600 watts rms by1 i can set it to get more than 600 and it wil lbe fine? like say 700 to 750?

i would say that what the manufacturer recommends as rms is what you should feed it for the most longevity
