ok well i have a 71 lemans, and so far all i have are rear deck speakers. i have two infinity reference 6x9s in the rear deck and they sound good. i was just wondering would it be a good idea to retro fit some 6.5s or maybe 4s in the front kick panels? the only thing that i thought would be wrong with that is that they are so low down in the car they wouldnt be heard as well especially on the highs.
yea i was thinking about the tweeters in the metal A pillars like you were saying but i dont feel like doing all that. i also dont want to cut up the door panels seeing as they are a lot of money to replace if i ever needed to. i was thinking of putting it in the kick panels so i would at least have some sound coming from up front. do you think shallow mount 6.5s would work? what about a 4 or 5.25 like you said? thanks.
