Well I had my Kicker ZX450.2 on it for about a month and it still bumped hard. Friends were shocked when I told them I only had 450rms on those Type R's, which could take 1000rms. 600rms would still get these guys moving, my friend has less than that on his in his jeep and they really do pound.

I like the way Alpine subs sound! They are actually very good subs! I'm surprised more people don't go with a setup like this!

I agree, but Im just looking for a deeper bass than the alpines can offer.

actually i think over 50% of people that are here started with this setup. i had those same subs and a kx1200.1 over a year ago. glad i got rid of them, but nice for awhile. plus, having the same thing as everyone else has, including every high schooler that shops at bb, makes it well worth it to sell them.
