My car's head unit has an input in the glove compartment to connenct an ipod video. Its a nice feature and lets me use my brothers ipod in place of a radio. However, I have a different kind of MP3 player, is there some kind of a adapter i can use to make it accept any mp3 player (through a headphone jack)?
I would tend to doubt it since those car companies that use the iPod cable sign a proprietary agreement with Apple to use their dock connector so the odds of there being any way to use a different MP3 player with it are slim.
