I plan on making a box for my 12" Q tuned to 32hz. Do you have experience installing and building boxes for large 4 door cars? I have a pretty big 4 door car and want to know what is the best box/port positioning for it? My rear deck has a 8" factory sub in the middle I will be taking out.
I think I read you saying subs facing back, port towards the driver side works well for cars. Any input?
I used to have a Mercedes C class and the rear seat didn't fold either. I also removed the 8" sub in the rear deck but was never able to get much SQ or SPL out of that car. The rear trunk was just sealed too well. I'd be interested to know what would have worked better as well.
i have same problem. i just removed the 8inch stock woofer and left that and the rear fill spots empty and the bass seems to travel. also when i fold down arm rest thing in back seat it lets through a bit more. just little tips i found useful
