On a capacitor what does it mean when it says 1 farad, or 3 farad, or 5 farad? And which one is better to use, I have 2 12" audioban subs that are rated at 400 watts rms and 800 peak.
Generally you should use 1 farad per 1000 watts. A 1 farad should work since you are pushing 800 watts total, assuming your amp does the rated power of your 2 subs.
