Im having a problem with my amps turning on before my headunit does. this is causing the subs to hit one time as soon as i turn the car on (which makes me jump everytime). i can get away with it by turing my remote bass boost off when i get out and then back on when i get in the car. it doesnt do it then, but i shouldnt have to do that everytime. it all started after i installed my equalizer last weekend. i know other people have had this problem before but i dont know how to fix it. thanks guys.

Like brads advice, a relay on the amps rem may help. Does the HU Rem turn on the EQ as well as the amp? Maybe a time delay device like the last one here.

yes, the EQ and Amps turn on at the same time. i was thinking about getting a time delay like that one, but shouldnt there be an easier way to do it?

could put a switch on the sub amp rem, but thats the same as turning the bb down. to be automatic, you will need some kind of delay. Does the HU have another rem? or the EQ? Again, just a simply relay on the sub rem may buy the time it needs to power on/off with out burping.
