Buying a new sub deciding between 2

i was looking for a new sub and i've heard good reviews about the power acoustic MOFO so i wannted to know it one twelve of that would be enough for a small car. I was also looking at a 12 kicker crx
Wats my better option and wats an amp that would power it

i got like 500 for sub and amp but if i need more i'll just save up . i got a HU and the 500 is excuding wiring

wat u looking for sq/sql/spl? and u just want 1 12? also what kinda car/alt? how much rms can u run safely?

im a noob wat is sq/sql/spl? also i have a mercury tracer. it just got a new alternator in it not sure about the details on it. if i have to i can get a capacitor if that would help

nope caps are totally pointless w/o a HO alt and upgraded batterys, but anyway sq=sound quality spl=loudness sql= mix of both

$500 would get you a 15" Fi SSD with flatwind coil and a Hifonics 1206D amp.

Yes, I had to name my setup lol.

a tracer huh, anyway you could figure out alterntaor size, because id hate to tell you to put like 1000 or so rms on it, if u have a real small alternator

I have two 12 mofo's. They are pure spl. They don't sound that good but they are really loud. I haven't heard the kickers in years and I can't really remember what they were like. They have to sound better then the mofo. One 12 in a good box should be fine. You can get something better then both of those choices for $500.

i had 1000w rms running through it with my old system but then it got stolen and the sub never cut out .p.s. always make sure your doors are locked

If your running 1200rms and under you should have no need for a new alt.

Logan Im pushing 1200rms on my Type R's and my lights were pretty much pulsating to the beat last night.. I think I need a new alt.
