Well I have 1 15" Fi $$D currently powered by an A-bahn a8002v. I know the A-bahn isnt the greatest amp, and i want to upgrade it. Im thinking maybe a Hifonics Brutus 1200, but maybe theres something better out there. My box is tuned to 33hz, and it's in a Blazer. The sub is dual 2 ohm, so the amp specs need to match up with that. My limit is $300. If anybody has anything they are selling, feel free to respond as well. Thanks.

That audiobahn amp is stable at 2ohm you need a 1ohm stable amp.

This amp will work great on that sub. Make sure you set the gain correct and you will be fine.

Why not a SAE-1000D from sundown. That would be perfect for the ssd.

a kx1200 might be alittle to much power ... due to the fact that ... with a decent electrical system youll be seeing 1400-1500 watts

I run a Hifonics Brutus 1206D on my 15" SSD @ 1 ohm. That amp really pushes this sub to its limit and gets LOUD. Does your SSD have the flatwind coil on it?

it hits pretty good and it is well worth it, im thinkn about getting a Hifonics Brutus 1206D because my kicker amp is rated at 900watts and the ssd could handle a little more power. but overall the ssd slams...make sure you get a decent box tho. Build it yourself or (contact Logan(good prices), Canaan, Fisher Customs, or TCAB-Mark Potts)

Would the Q get louder on a brutus 1206D then the SSD would. Also would the 1206D be fine with a stock electrical system.

Thanks for the responses, and yes, i bought the flatwind. For one in my life, I thought ahead, and it's paying off now. I have heard the SSD can handle 1500 w/o blowing. Idk about that, but I would give her 1200 rms to play with.

So...
Hifonics Brutus 1206D
SAE-1000D
Orion 1200D

And Jamie...I already have the sub up and running, I just want to give it more power since I know it can handle it. Heres a couple vids at 1/2 volume to give you an idea of what im working with.
