2 (12") ALPINE TYPE R'S OR 1 KICKER L5 OR L7

I HAVE AN MTX 81000 D(1200 WATTS ON BIRTH SHEET AT 2 OHMS)RUNNING THE ALPINES IN A 2.0 CF SEALED BOX FIRING FORWARD WHEN YOU OPEN THE BACK SEAT IN MY IMPALA. I DONT WANT TO FACE THEM BACK WARDS. I HAVE AN AMP RACK THAT LOOKS CLEAN AND I STILL HAVE THE WHOLE TRUNK LEFT PRETTY MUCH. I WAS THINKINH ABOUT RUNNING 1 KICKER L5 OR L7 AND PORTING THE BOX WHERE IT WILL FIRE IN ALSO. THE REASON I WANT TO CHANGE TO THE KICKER IS THE ALPINES ARE GOOD AND TIGHT BUT I WANT MORE BASS OUTPUT. I'VE HEARD THAT THE KICKER IN A PORTED BOX WILL OUTPERFORM MY R'S IN A SEALED BOX. ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME. I WANT TO KEEP THE BOX AROUND 2.5 CUBIC FEET. AND I'M GONNA KEEP THEM FIRING RIGHT IN THE CAR BEHIND THE SEAT SO THE TRUNK DOESN'T RATTLE.

I have one 10" kicker solobaric in a large vented box behind the seat of my standard cab F150 and it sounds great. I it clean and loud. I have gone to a couple SPL compitions and I have got it up to 142.3 DB. And it is oly getting 300 watts RMS and 600 Peak.
