how and what should i put my gain at so i wont blow my new sub thats comming in

whats the web sight that will help you buil a sloted box that you can build your self

That site will give you box plans and help you set your gain. Just DL the 50hz sine wave from ROE and get a DMM to set your gain to whatever number the gain calculator gives you.

i dont know what the heck im doing wrong but the box it shows me has to be wrong let me know whats wrong its a ported box for an alpine 1242D type R

You had the xmax at 275mm lol. I couldnt find the xmax for your model but i used the xmax from the old model type rs that i had and came up with this
