www.proboxrocks.com

i have personally heard from 3 pro boxes and a shop here sells alot of them. they are all tuned a little high (40ish hz) and they use 1/2" mdf instead of 3/4".

none of them sounded bad that i heard, they got pretty loud, but i never liked the 1/2" wood. build quality always seemed great, just poor materials...

my opinion...

the only PRO BOX boxes I would every even think about looking at are the custom fit boxes. (EX, under truck seats)

Those boxes tend to be tuned too high and in EVERY install i have seen w/ them, they completely missed the low notes.

For example,
A friend of mine has a CVX 15 in a Super-Bass PRO BOX...he came to me and asked why it would not hit the low notes and his sub would 'flutter'. I measured the box and it came out to be tuned to 44-46hz! I set the guys SSF higher, but the box was worthless.

If you are looking into nice pre-built boxes, look into Audio Enhancer. The KVPR boxes are pretty dam good for pre-built.

Tuned high to be loud..... which fits the market they are targeting to a T.

Other than that? Build is decent, looks are as well. If it has the correct cu and sqin of port, and you couldnt build one to save your life? Go for it.

I could hget you a deal on it, but i wont, as in all likely-hood you could get one built better...cheaper, on the forums. Then you could take it to a Zeebart type place and have it shot with bedliner yourself.
