What is the best kind of subs I could purchase at a decent price? I'm not really looking to spend a whole lot for a system, but enough for me to get noticed. And, what kind of amp could I get to go with the subs? I was thinking of getting 2 subs and at least a 1200W amp. Any help would be appreciated.

Ya, what is your budget, type of car, and type of music you listen too?

I'm not trying to spend a lot like a thousand, but less than that. I have a 94 Integra and I usually listen to rap and was trying to figure out the best setup for my car.

And I'm looking for 2 12" subs in either a sealed box or a vented box

Well from what to seem to be looking for you could go with two Audioque SD2.5's for the subs = $278 + ship. And then you could power them with a decent 1000 watt monoblock like the Kicker ZX1000.1 = $420 shipped. Then have someone here build you a custom box for around $100-140 and you are under budget and good to go.

^^^^Agreed.

You could try the Hifonics Brutus or possibly the Soundstream Picasso.
