i didnt ask about the amp just the subs.....its a 1000watt crunch amp(by maxxsonics) that goes down to 1 ohm....its pretty crappy but it works...i powered a kicker cvx to it and it was pretty LOUD and i blew a 10in L5 not even pushing it....so it does push more than u think

yeah pay no attention to the max of an amp or a sub. so maybe figure about 400wrms.. maybe, pending on what amp that is..

OK...so you want two 12's for $140 each or three 10's for $93 each?

And you want sound quality?

No...don't go with P3s. You are going to be really limited with only 400RMS or so. It's almost not worth it. I would highly suggest either saving for a new amp or only buying one sub and putting all your power towards it.

Hold up there, before replacing that Crunch amp, is that an old school amp that was made by ZED or one of the cheap import pos amps?

If it's a Zed built amp hang on to it. They were just about indestructable and worth fixing when they need it. They were also seriously under rated and would hold up to most any pounding you can give them. Pull the cover off it and see if it says "made by Zed Audio" on it anywhere. It will be printed right on the circuit board. What model is it?

OK, Sorry! I didn't see that you said it was a Maxxsonics. It will be one of the crappy ones from China then. I agree with BeN, replace it with something decent.
