Big 3 ?

if my amperage draw is like 500 amps or so does that mean i need to do 2 runs of 0 ga for each Big 3 wiring location?

no. you dont have too, that means ull need better charging upgraded alt batterys etc.. thats a big draw, my memphis amp draws alot im diong 3 pos 3 neg runs to back batterys with 250 alt and big 3 is just 1 run of 1/0 i seen people do more wouldnt hurt

well i have my big 3 done but i know when you pull like 300 amps or so then you have two power and grounds for the amp so i didnt know if it worked llike that for your big 3 because most 0 ga can only handle 350 amp's or so

just run more runs from ur batterys to ur back batterys. if ya want stick another run to alt if you want

what size alt? thats the ammount of power wire you need for the big 3... if you have dual 300 amp I would do 2 runs lol

How much power wire you run has to do with how much current you want to flow from your front battery to your amps or rear batteries.

FYI, 0 gauge isn't the only size. You can get 00Gauge.

You can also get 3/0 and 4/0(000 gauge and 0000 gauge). You can pick that wire up at a welding supply store.

Did anyone watch the Pimp my ride show? They installed 2 22" jackhammer in a van with 12 MTX amps. It only hit 131db. Somebody didn't do their homework on the sub box.

MKR, if i get apxx 18 im getin an atomic 5k which draws a good 490 or so. or possibly just buying another massive P300.1
