so ive had it with my solo x 18 it keeps blowing and i blew one of my kx2500.1s my question is with my remaining kx 2500.1 what sub(s) should i get im goin for spl?
did u have ur gain on the amp all the way up i sayin this cause i dont wnat u gettin another sub like fi n blowin it id go wit FI BTL FULLY LOADED but u gon need an HO alt and do the big three keep that in mind if not done already
^That charging system is not enough to support 5K Rms.You most likely clipped everything to death.You'll have the same problems with different subs/amps.
alrite well wil the 18 inch btl be just as loud running to that kicker as the solox x was to the same amp? also i have 2 12s and an amp lying around will it sound bad to mix 2 12s with 1 18?
You had two KX2500's on that little of an electrical system? I have a 300A++ modified large case Bosch alternater with overdrive pulley (255A @ idle) external two stage dash adjustable regulator, two runs of 1/0 ga wire dual 1100 cca batteries and I can only run 2500 rms. I am running two SX1250's getting about 2800 at the sweet spot, I do have another 2 of the same amps but unless I have 6 batteries there is no way I will be able to keep up.... Those kicker amps draw current, trust me.. Polo..
Anything you power with those amps with that electrical system is going to blow up.You shouldn't have that kind of power running through your system if you don't know how to monitor it carefully.
Not for long, may be stressing it at night. Add a second battery if you can. Put the yellow in the trunk and get a cheapo $85 battery for the front, as high of a CCA you can go. What ya doin with your blown amp? Polo..
