Post Number: 2293 Registered: Jul-06 | "ive got the 18 it blows all the time you can run the kx2500.1 to the 1 ohm version or if you wanna get it loud do 2 kx2500.1s" What kind of charging system do you have Patrick?I don't have any problems with my Solo X blowing from normal use.I blew one VC though after running a 5hz tone,it was just thermally overloaded like crazy and got smoky from it but still worked then eventually gave up.I beat on my Solo X every day though and I don't have any problems with it blowing.The sound quality of them is all opinion,I actually like the sound of my Solo X over my DD 3512,hits the lows much better in my opinion. |

If you are running more then the reccomended power dont play it to long so the batterys drain to much, let the batterys charge again ect.... once you see the voltage dropping below 12.5V easy.. you know your down to much power. I would get a volt meter in the car if you plan on running 5K on that.. also it could take out your alternator to, not just your amp, and subs.... if you drop low enough you can fu<k up stuff in your cars electrical\computer system to. |
