I ran this in amplfiers the other day, got good answers. I then went to local NAPA store talked to parts guy my luck was he, knew exactly my situation he runs 2 himself. So he brought out from the back a 1 wire alternator, internally regulated, and doens't need the hot start to charge, so now it just a matter of making the brackets to attach it to the engine pullies to charge my spare battery. alternatot part #13-4356sw 106 amp $106 alot better than $350

all of the ford f250 and 350's 99and up(i dont know about earlier models) with the power stroke diesel have an option of dual alts and there is a OEM bracket already in place. each one is like 135a but imagine like 2 300a on there

yeah it has two batts as well. all of their newer power stroke models have this option which is pretty cool, ill probly just keep it with 2 135's because that is pleanty for my system and stuff and stock alts are alot more reliable then HOs

Most of the Large case bosch's have extra cooling honestly if it is a good builder they all should! If you are using a standard case HO alt that someone just rewound then ya, you may have issues during the summer. Polo..

plus on a lot of imports you cant fit a large case so the extra parts still have to be fitting inside the smaller one
