Thats a good choice. Good amps at roll and good amps at idle. I have a 260/155 and my voltage drops with only 2000rms @ idle (don't ask why). Although on cruise my voltage does not drop. That extra 20amps your getting by sacraficing 40amps at drive will be good for when you want to bump at stops etc etc.

Depends...what did you send an email about? If you wanna order it, just order, but lately lots of ppl have been saying it can take a looooong time. Someone said it took 2 months. I def don't think your 2 week plan will hold up if you're leaving it to iraggi.

I ordered from them on the site directly and on ebay. The stuff from ebay shipped same day as from the site, except ebay was USPS and the site was UPS. Both shipped Monday, USPS came Wednesday of the same week, UPS came Tuesday of the following week.

I'm going to quietly recommend you get a quote from EA. I say quietly b/c Matt's gonna flame for that one lol
I can tell you Nate's responsive and I got the alt within 2-3 weeks after ordering. I don't know what hws option means though :-(

^^^ He saw it coming, lol

But what he didn't tell you is that EA doesn't make an alt that does anywhere near as mch power as the one you want. I know that because I have asked.

I think Dom Iraggi is on termpro forum sometimes. Maybe someone there has his email.

Are you referring to me? I run an Excessive Amperage alt. There shouldn't be any flaming from me :-)

You already know mine - EA: great communication, great service, good price, fairly fast turnaround, 2 months of owning the alt - no problems at all.

i bought it has a lifetime warranty on it sits at 14.4v and it only took 6 days after payment b4 it arrived by ups direct bolt on just as stated. answered all emails rather quickly with all the emails he gets daily. and i have to say i am a proud owner of a IRAGGI ALT

i think both are good choices- (from what ive heard) so go by cost and power rating (at idle and 2000 rpms) maybe?

I have an Iraggi. It took 2 months to get mine...he had to custom build it. He sent it with a newer casing style that didnt fit my vehicle right. So I called and he called back the next day. Sent the alt back to him and had it back the next week. It always takes about 2 days for him to respond to email. The couple of times I did call, I got the answering service. My voltage sits at exactly 14.4 at idle. My idle is low...1k rpm's. The alt is great. It took alot longer than I expected but overall I am happy with the product. I have heard from a couple of people on different forums that have an iraggi alt and they said that the amperage was higher than rated. I'll let you guys know if that is true, if I ever get mine tested.

Yeah, price should be the determining factor here if you can get equal idle/peak ratings. I didn't see any alts for my car on iraggi site, so I just ordered from EA.
