So i got a 8" Assassin a while back and finally got it into a ported box. I thought it was a 4 Ohm sub, but when i take my DMM to it I get 7.1Ohms (round up a bit for AC resistance aka 8 Ohms).
Is this wrong? or is something up with the sub?
It works fine on my home theater amp, Its just that my friend kinda wants it and it would require quite the amp for 350watts at 8 Ohms. More then he wants to spend.
