Ok Im making a fiberglass box for my gmc sierra ext cab. Its gonna be for 2 12" w6's. imma make it in the place of the center console. Just lookin for tips from people with fiberglass boxes or from ppl who make them. What problems do you come across with the finished product? And how you fix them. I know one problem for sure will be the rattling in the box itself...Im thinking about applying some sound deadner on the box...neway..just looking for some input. This is the 1st one im making, so just tryin to anticipate some problems i will come across. Thanks for ur help.
Make a frame first then put the fiberglass over it, and maybe epoxy the inside when your done... I never did it myself before but that seems completly logical to do to help what you think you may come across.... (the frame is more for strength) BTW make it thick... or the subs will flex the box
