no they go to the beat of the music. i can press a button and they stay on like normal neaons. I can also adjust the sensitivity to i can play the music louder and quieter and they still go to the beat of the music.

ya. the 20 i cant rly see cuz its behind my box but its very bright if i look back there. As you can see in the pics it reflects on the roof. The ones under the dash are only 9" each but still very bright for their size. When the musical interface is on they dont seem as bright cuz there always going on and off with the music. When there just on like normal neons they are very bright and i rly like them. I thinking about moving the 20 so it can be seem easyer but idk yet.

Looks good, but I'll stick with my Cold Cathodes from Oznium. Pretty much that same setup (2 12 inch kits [2 cathodes per kit] - music interface and a 15 inch cathode with built in interface) would be around $35 shipped. Just my opinion though.

Oznium Music Interface

I love their stuff. Great service, cheap shipping and the cathodes are very bright. I got mine in red and I've never seen red neons look anywhere near as good. There are some good people in their forum if you have questions.

I honestly think music interface is cheesy, I have mine on switches. The Sunbeam interface they offer has gotten mixed reviews but you can get any interface and wire it up to the cathodes.

Nick, I've had nothing but good luck with Oznium. If you go on their forum (link) there are TONS of people who can vouch for them. They're a pretty small company and the owner generally handles any issues himself. If something breaks in shipping he'll generally replace it for free. Great products and great service. There are plenty of people on the Grand Am forum I frequent who have gotten lighting from them, that's actually where I found out about them, GA Owners Club.

Nick, I find them to be very bright, especially the colors that would tend to be less bright in neon (red, orange). The other colors are just as bright as neon in my opinion and the cost and ease of use makes it a no brainer for me. Plus they pull so little power (.7amps per set) that you can wire up a ton of them an not have to worry about drawing too much power. I know some people on the Oznium forum who have 20+ sets hooked up.
