are they really good? i am able to get the compustar pro for $525. it has voltage meter, temperature gauge, remote start, and some other stuff. it even does remote start for stick shift cars.

the price includes installation and the transponder (not sure what that is).

Make sure you get it from an authorized dealer Chad because they won't honor any warranties otherwise. I heard when they first came out they had alot of returns, but now they have all those bugs worked out and from what I hear from installers they are among the best alarms you can buy. The transponder allows it to work with cars that come with keys that have a chip inside.

yeah the place ima get it from is an authorized dealer. infact not all compustar dealers carry the pro series. only a selected few and this place does carry them.

btw thanks brad. you helped me on my decision. lol. seriously.

i think i do. that is why when the alarm installer saw my key he told me i need the transponder. i wasn't sure what the transponder was until now.

btw the guy who built my box is the computstar dealer.
