Jensen VM9311TS Terrible FM Reception

I have a Jensen VM9311TS unit, and ever since I installed it, the FM reception has just been terrible. Stations that my stock headunit was able to pick up just fine are now full of static with the Jensen. It's EXTREMELY location sensitive... what I mean by that is that the signal will fluctuate when the car is moving. The signal is bad when the car is stopped, but the constant pulsing of the signal is even worse when the car is in motion. It's to the point where when I go under certain bridges, some stations disappear completely... Has anybody else had this problem? Is the Jensen tuner just that bad, or do you think I have a defective unit?

Thanks!

Ryan, I have the same unit, how ever my FM reception is not as bad as yours, It's no where near as good as my stock GM radio was. So it's my assumption that Jensen leaves a little to be desired. I thought the problem may have been in the antenna adaptor i had to use but after reading your post.... I tend to think it's the tuner. PtP
